Workman Family

June 26, 2011 / (0) Comments / Posted in Families, Kids, Siblings

And a hard-working man, he sure is. Sorry for the pun, but it has to be said. This family has spent a lot of the last year or more living apart... momma and kids at home while dad works in another state far, far away. If there's any consolation, I guess it makes their time together that much sweeter. But I sure do hope they get to spend more time together in the days to come.

On a side note, they sure do have some good genes, don't they?

This little beauty is only five years old. Wait until she's a teenager. Holy heartbreaker!

Four Generations

An old, childhood friend of mine contacted me to do this session long before Mother's Day. She had an idea to do a few 4 generations pictures, and I thought it was fabulous. The universe worked against us in the form of weather all the way until last night. But it was worth the wait. Captures like this first one will be priceless treasures one day.

And I finally got to meet her little Joben, whom I'm awarding the title of Cutest Cheeks in the Whole World. Ever.

Here's a peek at our session:

Nolan, 7 Days New

Meet little Nolan. He's a cardinal fan and soon-to-be equestrian, if his parents get any say. I enjoyed meeting him and his family, and I always appreciate the families who let me invade their very personal space to do my work just days after such a life-changing event.

Here's a peek at sweet Nolan, just 7 days new...

Handsome Man, Kaden

I got to hang out with Kaden again the other day. I first met him the day of his first birthday, just days after the weather had turned nice enough to play outside, and he was completely enamoured with grass and dirt. They were old news to him the other day, so we were able to get some pictures of him looking not so bewildered.

In the months since his birthday, he's polished up his walking (I mean, running) skills. He just wasn't expecting that I could keep up with him!

Here's a peek...
